Battery Storage Training

Battery storage is no longer an add-on — it is becoming standard in modern solar installations. Our battery courses cover grid-connect battery storage systems, including design, installation, and combined design-and-install qualifications.

Drone Training

Commercial drone operations are transforming how tradespeople inspect sites, assess roofs and manage project documentation. Training Up now delivers CASA-approved drone training, including Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) and Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC) pathways.

Which course is right for me?

It depends on your current licence and your business goals. Electricians typically start with the full solar design and install pathway, while existing solar professionals might add battery or drone qualifications. Contact us and we will map it out.

Do I need to be an electrician to enrol in solar courses?

Some solar courses require an electrical licence or equivalent prerequisites, while others are open to eligible learners. Check individual course pages for entry requirements, or ask our team.

Do you offer online learning?

Yes. Theory and knowledge assessments are delivered through our online learning platform. Practical components are completed face-to-face at our Peakhurst training facility.

Where are practical sessions held?

At our dedicated training facility in Peakhurst, Sydney. The address and session times are confirmed at enrolment.

Do you offer group training for businesses?

Yes. We regularly deliver group training for companies putting multiple staff through solar, battery, safety or drone qualifications. Ask about our corporate training options.

What is the difference between RePL and AROC?

RePL (Remote Pilot Licence) authorises you to operate drones commercially under a ReOC or for specific larger RPA categories. AROC (Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate) qualifies you to use aviation radio frequencies when operating in controlled airspace. Depending on your intended operations, you may need one or both.
